Brandon and I have been into the Olympics for the last week. We watch every night until midnight or until they stop coverage of it. And it's so exciting because we (the USA) kick butt! But we mostly have watched swimmer Michael Phelps make world history by winning 7 gold medals in one Olympics. And he had a close call tonight by winning by only 1/100th of a second. That's close!! But we also watched the gymnastics and volleyball teams. I of course love watching the volleyball. That's my favorite sport. I wish I could be out there playing with them!
We are so involved in the Olympics for the 2 weeks that they are on and then when it's over we say "Now what do we do?" But I am proud to be an American!!
Damian has also gotten into it a little bit. When we watch gymnastics and the guys are on the parallel bars or the rings, Damian says he wants to do that and he wants to go there. So he even thinks it looks pretty cool to do. But I think we will come out with the most medals overall, but right now China is leading in the gold medals.

I know! USA rocks!! :) We have been enjoying them too. We like the swimming,gymnastics, and volleyball. So fun!
