Last week we took a trip to Kentucky to visit Grandma and Grandpa. I had thoughts of the plane ride going aweful. We haven't taken the boys on a plane yet and so I thought it would be a chore keeping them still for 3 hours straight. But I was wrong! They did awesome. Of course they had a great Aunt and 2 uncles to help keep them busy. It was a great help to have them with us.
But we had a great time there. We went to a Cincinnati Reds baseball game and saw an awesome fireworks show. Then we visited the Cincinnati Zoo. It was a hot day of walking but it was an awesome zoo and we got to see some cool animals. And Damian and Chase got to ride a train.
Damian does this funny thing imitating an elephant and we all get a kick out of it. He raises his arm up like its the trunk and make a sound like an elephant would make. I taught him this a few months ago and its so fun to watch.
Overall, we had a wonderful time seeing where Grandma and Grandpa live. Thanks for the great times!!
